Marooned in Realtime

I finished reading Vernor Vinge's "Marooned in Realtimee" last week in my brand new Kindle (It was a surprisingly pleasant experience).

The book is a sequel to Peace Wars which I had liked very much when I originally read it five years back (has it really been that long?!). I liked this one too, although not as much as liked reading "Peace Wars". I felt that the end was a little contrived. But, it was a very interesting read that held my interest throughout.

I did not know before reading the Wikimedia entry on vinge that some him with coining the phrase "technological singularity".
